John Smith: Principal / Structural Engineer

Beginning his career at Nowak Meulmester in San Diego in 1985, John was quickly trusted with responsibility and managed his own retail and commercial projects immediately after graduation. 

In 1990 John moved to the Seattle Area and worked as a project manager and design engineer for such reputable firms as Cary Copczynski & Company, KPFF and Coughlin Porter Lundeen. It was at these firms that John learned to manage large projects as well as design in all the construction materials: post-tensioned concrete, steel, masonry, wood, metal framing and renovation projects.  This diverse project experience has given John the ability to deliver the "right solution" for any project.
